With an emphasis on helping residents maintain their dignity, Trinity Elms encourages those who live there to be as independent as possible and strives to ensure that all residents are treated with dignity and compassion.
Many Trinity Elms staff members have received training from the Alzheimer's Resource Center of Connecticut, which is at the forefront of a revolution in caring for those with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia. Getting to know each resident, including his or her personal history, is a priority for staff and helps them bring empathy to their role as caregivers.
